I was recently asked, as extronidaire of all things sexy, what one piece of lingerie should a girl wear to impress her man, whether it be the handsome new guy in her life or her husband who needs a little shaking up. I thought and I thought and even went to the lengths of discussing this with my male friends and it seems that a sassy pair of frilly French knickers should do the trick. Men can’t help themselves when they see a girl in French knickers and with it being the only thing you’re wearing I’m sure the man in your life will have no qualms. These gorgeous baby pink frilly knickers from True Corset are a sure fire way to get you noticed in the bedroom (or maybe outside the bedroom if your feeling risky!) and priced at £14.30 incl VAT means you’ll be able to treat yourself to one for every day of the week!

Sheryl Nields, a famous photographer brings burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese to life in a series of flip books that capture the dancer’s most intimate performances. A perfect gift for any hardcore Dita fans but also anyone, like me, who is just generally a lover of anything burlesque. “Dita: Striptease” is an exciting tribute to this one-of-a-kind performer, featuring three of her most loved dance routines.
Martini Glass Show – Performed all over the world, the martini glass show is Dita’s most famous burlesque act. Featuring her in her ‘Diamonds in the Buff’ costume, Dita performs a traditional striptease that culminates with her bathing herself in an oversize martini glass, complete with olive sponge.
Bird of Paradise Show – Inside a posh gilded Victorian birdcage, burlesque’s brightest star reinvents the classic feather fan dance with two lush oversize feather fans of exotic, rare magenta pheasant feathers. In an extraordinary costume of beautifully curved feathers, Dita spins around on her golden perch, and treats audiences to an unforgettable wet and wild finale as sparkling water showers over her body.
Classic Striptease – This striptease features Dita dressed in a vintage suit complete with a veiled hat, seamed stockings, and sky-high stilettos. Audiences get a glimpse into Dita’s personal wardrobe – and what she reveals underneath it!

Whilst going about my daily business today (which basically means surfing the internet and doing a little bit too much online purchasing and making my bank manager a very stressed little man) I came across this stunning pink bustle skirt with lace from truecorset, my favourite corsetry site. I love how this is styled, with the imagery looking like it could be taken from one of the big fashion houses. Mixed with a satin black corset and dramatic eye makeup will be perfect for my next Burlesque night out.
Cant wait to feel the heavyweight dutchess satin against my skin, might I just add looking paler than ever. Pale is definately the new tan, minus those sunbeds girls and embrace your inner pale goddess.
When I’m all dressed up and ready to go, I usually take one look in the mirror and know when something isn’t right. Something’s missing and that something is usually an extra accessorie. I like to dress, some might say, in a slightly over the top way and whats a better way to draw attention to myself that a sexy little top hat. Maybe a little too much like Alice in Wonderland, but hey who cares, Vogue states that the mystical, fairytale theme of Alice will be extremley on trend this year and who’s to argue with the fashion bible.
Take a look at these gorgeous mini top hats from truecorset.co.uk, excellently priced at only £28.75 (including VAT) to £35.95. My favourite has to be the leopard print design with netting and black flower accessory.
