As Christina Aguilera gets ready to launch back into the world of music it came to my attention how much she is starting to look and dress like Lady GaGa. Now, Christina was around long before GaGa hit the scene but it’s a shame she’s felt the need to go down the road of the slight S&M feel to her new music video. I love Christina when she went through that whole fifties phase, singing Candy Man in her white pencil dress and pin curls. There can only be, sadly, room for one Lady GaGa seen as she strives to take centre stage where ever she goes. Christina has the voice so she should pick a style that’s new and not out there already. My advice for her would be to stick to the whole sexy siren, Jazz singer look she had back in 2007 with her corsets and bustle skirts…let’s hope she’s reading!

How gorgeous does pop princess, Christina Aguilera look on her single cover, with a black PVC corseted playsuit, teamed with a metal waist nipping belt. This looks like a torchure device! Still, she looks great. I loved Christina when she went through her 50’s pin up phase but I suppose anything is an improvement on leather chaps and dreadlocks for her ‘Dirty’ video!
Christina Aguilera has released her latest “big news” — the lyrics to her single “Not Myself Tonight” off her upcoming album, Bionic! ALSO, the countdown time on ChristinaAguilera.com has started yet again. Will the song finally get released tomorrow?? Hopefully!!!
Christina is currently filming her acting debut for the film ‘Burlesque‘, so lets hope some of the style carries to run off on her as she has the pefect figure for it.
Pop star, Christina Aguilera is currently filming her acting debut in the up and coming film, Burlesque, a contempary muscial-film directed by Steve Antin.
Ali (Christina Aguilera) is a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Burlesque’s outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingenue, who vows to perform there one day.
Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer (Julianne Hough), finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer (Kristen Bell), and garners the affection of Jack (Cam Gigandet), a bartender and fellow musician. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and gender-bending host (Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory, though not before a charismatic entrepreneur (Eric Dane) arrives with an enticing proposal.
