TREND OF THE WEEK – NUDE

After this year’s Oscars and Fashion month all rolled into one, one trend stood out amongst all others. That was the colour nude. It was seen on at least three of the hottest celebrities this weekend, including Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz and Miley Cyrus.

If a couture gown is out of your price range, which is definitely is mine, why not start from the base of any outfit and buy some nude lingerie. Nude is always flattering underneath clothing, especially with sheer tops and dresses.

DITA VON TEESE WITH BEAU

Dita Von Teese and her boyfriend, Louis Marie de Castelbajac, sit front row at the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 9).

The 37-year-old burlesque beauty almost didn’t make it to the show to support her beau’s father!

“Recovered from a bout of food poisoning just in time,” she tweeted before the show. “I think I’m even paler than usual.” Yuck – feel better soon, Dita!!

A few days later Dita Von Teese and her boyfriend, French aristocrat Louis Marie de Castelbajac, lent their support to his father Jean-Charles at his fashion show after-party held at Le Baron during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 9).

When asked what the secret to his amazing hair is, Louis-Marie told Dansk, “Ha. Thank you. I don’t really take care of my hair. If anything, I have to pull myself together to wash it. I like to keep it ‘au naturel,’ which I guess comes from my parents. My Irish grandfather had potential for a huge ‘fro, so it might come from him.”

Louie-Marie currently divides his time between Paris and LA, where Dita lives.
