UNDERWEAR AS OUTERWEAR

When I was trawling through Vogues website recently, one thing struck me about the Spring Summer 2010 trends that are due to hit the high street, errmm well anytime after Christmas day, was the amount of lingerie worn as outwear, bringing an outfit together with a hint of satin or a twist of lace.

My favourite looks are from designers such as Stella McCartney and Chloe. I came across this photograph taken of model Chloe Sevigny at the launch of the new Prada book at the Prada store in Beverly Hills.

I love Chloes style and this is the perfect way, although pretty risque for the more reserved of us, to wear the latest trend. If your shyer than myself and Chloe then maybe team this look with a hint of lacey bra straps and a chunky winter jumper, or a satin slip with a thick grey cardigan thrown over the top.
